It’s been 8 years since we took to the streets. And things are worse… despite a woke black birthing person mayor, a black woman birthing person circuit attorney and black county prosecutor. Elected leaders out of the protest movement were easily assimilated, did the bidding of their Dem handlers and resigned in scandal once they no longer were of any use. Exactly what I warned would happen.
Bruce Franks resigned in scandal. John Muhammad is currently under indictment by the feds. Rasheen Aldridge is the party mascot. Cori Bush not only turned her back on this movement, she allows herself to be used as the black face of white radical politics. Anointed prominent activists and protesters completely missing in action. Mike Brown’s death was a stepping stone to lives they could have never lived otherwise. There are many Patrisse Cullors.
8 years post Ferguson, the veil has been lifted and now its time to fight the real battle, go up against party/NPIC and the anointed are nowhere to be found. But watch them pop up on que to once again exploit the death of Mike Brown and the sacrifices of the collective. There are many Patrisse Cullors.
