Hard to believe it’s been 9 years, NINE YEARS since Darren Wilson executed Mike Brown. This been a loooooong, draining journey, made worse by betrayal from the Dem Party, NPIC and progressives from far and wide posing as friends and ‘saviors’. The region didn’t know that hit it. St. Louis exists in a bubble… a better analogy would be imagine a fish tank spray painted black floating in the ocean.
The fish swimming in the tank are only aware of life inside the bowl, they have no idea that the ocean exists. That’s St. Louis and why even all these years later and everything that’s been exposed, most people are still clueless about what really happened or the broader implications. Our movement was ripe for the taking.
Today after a historical black Ferguson City Council, several black Ferguson police chiefs, a black County Prosecutor and mayor, a black mayor, interim police chief and Circuit Attorney and protesters elected at the local, state and national level every issue we face is worse.
