If the Supreme Court leak revealed anything, it’s how easily the establishment is able to play on emotions, distract and rile people up, so much so that people will fight the wrong battles, ignore facts, science and common sense. Its 2022, not 1973. We know how to prevent pregnancies, so why isn’t the fight for prevention and not abortion after the fact, hello? Because talking about abortion or as the right says,’killing babies’ is a bigger trigger than birth control. Talking about birth control will rattle parents and prudes, talking about ‘killing babies’ invokes a whole diff response based on religious views. The left phrases it as ‘woman’s rights’, the right, as ‘rights of the unborn’. We’re still feeling remnants of covid and already both sides have switched their position. Am I the only one that sees the irony in people who were just protesting government health mandates, citing personal choice, now protesting a woman’s right to choose and the people who were just pro government health mandates fighting for a woman’s right to choose…. while killing womens sports? And lets not forget the irony of Biden’s black woman justice not being able to define what a woman is.
The question we must ask ourselves is given how bad things are, would the powers on both sides that be use war, high crime/homicides/gun control and abortion to distract from their failures and energize their base going into the midterms?
