Another suspect police shooting in Ferguson. Dec 2021, and we’re just now seeing the video which leaves us with more questions than answers. The video didn’t record the beginning of the incident and doesn’t show the chase (middle of the incident), you hear gunshots, but it doesn’t show the suspect actually shooting at police. Or where the shots were coming from. Police fired 20 rounds…
This video doesn’t show the shooting, doesn’t show the suspect as officer’s approached in the moments before the shooting. Doesn’t show exactly where the shots came from. As bad as sentiment is against police is in Ferguson, anybody could have fired a shot. Or it could have been ‘friendly fire’. Plus they don’t specifically say a gun was recovered.
So now back to square one. BLM didn’t prevent this from happening, “Reform” didn’t prevent this from happening. Nonprofits that filled their coffers off the murder of Mike Brown didn’t prevent this from happening. Professional actorvists and paid protesters didn’t prevent this from happening. The 5th or 6th black police chief in Ferguson since Darren Wilson murdered Mike Brown didn’t prevent this from happening. A black St. Louis County Police Chief didn’t prevent this from happening. Protesters turned elected leaders didn’t prevent this from happening. Black Girl Magic didn’t prevent this from happening. A protester turned US Rep didn’t prevent this from happening. And a black county prosecutor did not result in charges being filed against police.
It’s business as usual.
