Peep! 👉🏾 ☕ Morning fam, Today they use black faces. And call it change. The results are the same. And the false narrative that St. Louis is woke. The city is still trying to push the illusion of being a sanctuary city using soccer, the stadium built for visitors/refugees on the backs of poor black residents. And all while evicting homeless from tourist areas and throwing their possessions in the trash… THAT they have no problem picking up, its picking up the trash every week a service taxpayers pay for they still haven’t mastered. Or any of the other ‘reform’ efforts from Closing the Workhouse to bail/jail reform. March 12, 2023 ☕ Morning fam, I was somewhat surprised to see Messenger join the Post in making Mayor Jones the face of secrecy, lack of transparency and resistance to Missouri’s Sunshine law considering the mayor’s stance is no different than the mayors that came before her or even that of County Exec Sam Page… #AsTheLouTurns October 4, 2022 ☕ Morning fam, There is no leadership. Not in the mayor’s office. Not in the board of Aldermen. And not at the Circuit Attorney’s office. The is no faith in Dem establishment or progressive leaders. They all lost trust. None have the decency to step down so that the region can move beyond the last 10 years Again the region needs a reset. #FireThemAll April 28, 2023 ☕ Morning fam, “We are calling for no celebration without voting rights legislation,” – Martin Luther King III, not no celebration without tangibles, a black agenda or reparations, you know the “check” his father said black America was coming for before he was assassinated. But voting rights… for noncitizens. At the expense of black people. For the benefit of the Democratic Party. Apples fall waaaaay far from the tree. January 17, 2022 ☕Morning fam, Memphis. Tyre Nichols is dead, beaten to death by 5 black officers. Darryl Ross 16 was shot 18 times in St. Louis, the region of Ferguson and Mike Brown, the spark that reignited righteous anger and unrest we’re seeing today. Every city USA has a Tyre or Darryl or Mike. Black lives Matter was a big assed grift that had the newly awake believing they could brand brand themselves, solicit million dollar deals and come up off the struggle. Movement folk from Patrisse Cullors down stopped doing the work and became the newest capitalists exploiting black deaths, suffering and trauma. And dysfunction/PTSD. “Our own”. In collusion with the Dem Party, NBA/NFL, Nike and Disney. Call this out and you’re “Movement hating”. ***They’ll invent a word for your ass.*** This is what you get when you fight for “social justice” instead of ✊🏿. January 28, 2023 ☕ Morning fam, Trayvon Martin joins the loooong list of murdered black people that didn’t get justice and whose deaths were exploited by the Dem Party/NPIC to push an agenda and for votes… February 28, 2022 ☕ Morning fam, I stopped abruptly yesterday upon hearing the news of the passing of Harry Belafonte. I received the news via an RIP text sent by someone that assumed I knew. I immediately felt a sense of deja vu back to the time when I was doing my morning post and received the news about the murder of Darren. The news hit hard but nothing in comparison to the impact his death will have within black activist and movement spaces. We lost a giant…. and what we’re left with fails in comparison. April 26, 2023 ☕ Morning fam, Progressivism killed St. Louis. Yes, things were bad, Ferguson, hello? But every issue the region faced was worsened by ‘reform’, the imposition of not well thought out, reactionary, short sighted policies with foreseeable consequences… A culture war nobody wanted. Or voted for. And people, residents and visitors alike are dying as a result. Death has been normalized, collateral damage, the cost elites tell themselves of saving us. Offering thoughts and prayers after foreseeable tragedy is insult on top of injury. As is the ducking and dodging accountability from those in power. And responding with more not well thought out, reactionary, short sighted policies with foreseeable consequences that got us here. St. Louis is done with this cycle. #NotJustKimGardner #FireThemAll February 27, 2023 Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
