☕ Morning fam,
What’s the point of “black leaders” if they don’t advocate for black people, don’t produce pro black legislation or policy and don’t build or bring resources to the black community? How are they any different than the white people they were voted in to replace, especially considering they get their marching orders from the same party? And why do you expect more from white elected leaders, even Republicans than you do black leaders?
I’ll wait.
And FYI charity is not policy. And lifting all boats is not black empowerment.
