Morning fam

☕ Morning fam, Everybody’s getting money from the police to developers to nonprofits to the city’s poorest residents, and that’s all fine and dandy. The problem is that is the extent of the plan. For everything. While once again declaring “Mission Accomplished”. How many times have we seen this playout only to produce adverse results? Because simply making it rain doesn’t solve problems. After everybody gets money, then what? St. Louis will have the same problems, but worse because problems don’t get solved without a plan.

☕ Morning fam,
Change is coming to St. Louis… not because of progressive policies, but because residents are tired of social experimentation and deadly consequences of disastrous progressive policies. St. Louis is not woke. St. Louis has never been woke. Woke is an illusion, a creation of absentee and mailin ballots. Got to any section of the most dangerous city in America/the child murder capital and do a poll about woke policies like Defund and Close the Workhouse and you will find out exactly how not woke St. Louis is.

Progressives do not have a mandate. They are ruling by iron fist, imposing their will and withholding, then throwing money around to garner support… on the Board of Aldermen doubling their salary after the corruption scandal/indictments/guilty pleas of former BOA president Lewis Reed and alders Jeffrey Boyd and John Muhammad.

And what happens when the mayor no longer has money to make it rain? If simply throwing money at problems without a plan solved problems black St. Louis wouldn’t be in the condition it’s in after orgs like Urban League, BFL and OBS were given millions without so much as a real plan or metrics.

Check It Out! Peep! 👉🏾  ☕ Morning fam, There is no leadership. Not in the mayor's office. Not in the board of Aldermen. And not at the Circuit Attorney's office. The is no faith in Dem establishment or progressive leaders. They all lost trust. None have the decency to step down so that the region can move beyond the last 10 years Again the region needs a reset. #FireThemAll

This post isn’t about whether these things deserve funding, but continuing the knee jerk practice of responding to criticism by throwing money at problems without having a real viable plan or path from A-Z.

This is not leadership. This is not governing.

And this will not save the mayor.

Or St. Louis.
