Gotta talk about the Alabama riverboat brawl… Lemme start by saying this to help white folks… This is a textbook case of “Don’t let the negros in your life get your asses beat like a drum.” This is NOT the season to be testing black people., Black people are walking carrying over 400 years of oppression, like ptsd on steroids… like ticking time bombs, hand grenades & live wires not to be played with.
I don’t blame the white people, they only did what they have been allowed to do. The white dude who set shit off showed no fear. And this was big brotha… I promise he wasn’t the first black person he assaulted. Or the first white mob action any of the white people joining him participated in. I blame the cowardly black people that in whatever capacity in their lives allowed them to get to this point without being checked. Even the 16 year old who jump in and swam across the river to help the black security guard getting jumped by a bunch of bamas demonstrated more bravery.
This is why I rocks with the youth. They are fearless. And ready. #Toldja this during Ferguson. They just need the proper guidance.
The menacing and mayhem we’ve been seeing from coast to coast is what happens when they don’t.
