Joy Reid doesn’t wanna have a real conversation about Jim Crow or the history of the Democratic Party. Anybody that knows history knows the Dem Party is/was the party of slavery, the Klan and Jim Crow. Those are facts.
The parties never changed, that’s just some mumbo jumbo Dems tell negros. Proof?

What Joy Reid leaves out of her cross examination of Byron Donalds is that Jim Crow was pushed by Democrats. Democrats fought against civil rights legislation. And Democrats fought to secede from the Union rather than give up their slaves.
Even though slavery was abolished and blacks were eventually granted the right to vote, blacks are still not free to vote their conscious or in their interests. Dems control every aspect of the black community: black leaders, black schools, economic development in the black community, law & order.
And the black vote as Joe Biden told Charlamagne, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black”.
