Last night Jim Crow Joe gave his State of the Union, but it was Sarah Huckabee Sanders who delivered the quote of the night saying, “Americans have a choice ‘between normal or crazy'”. Don’t sleep on Huckabee Sanders, Trump’s former White House Press Secretary and newly elected governor of Arkansas. She’s better than anything Dems got going, they’re so extreme, they make sane look easy.
People are done with the gaslighting, virtue signaling and exploitation by a party that has shown itself to be everything it told us Republicans were: intolerant, party first ideologues, corrupt and possibly treasonous. Worse than Republicans. Worse than MAGA. Worse than Trump. In 2 years the left worsened race relations and every issue we face.
That’s the State of the Union.
The Dem brand is dead, And no, this isn’t a messaging issue.
This is a lack of results issue.
An ‘imposing agendas from a culture war nobody asked for’ issue.
This is an up is down/down is up issue.
A gaslighting about violent crime/homicides issue.
A Being wrong about covid, mandates, Roe/lying about m4a, student loan forgiveness and $15 minimum wage issue.
This is a ‘spending the last 6 years going after Trump while everything turned to shit’ issue.
While there won’t ever be a return ‘the normal’ that predated covid, we can create a new normal that imposes penalties for implementing extreme policies under the guise of following the science, fighting mis/disinformation and/or saving democracy.
