Mass shootings and abortion highlight the hypocrisy of each side, but both sides are too busy trying to impose their will rather than address the complexities and root issues of either issue. Banning doesn’t solve either problem or make it go away. And its gonna take more than the strike of a pen. Toldja last month Biden’s new gun law would not prevent mass shootings and a lil over a week later Highland Park is proof.
There are no easy fixes fam.
Restricting a woman’s right to choose will create a whole new set of problems no one is talking about, not to mention 6 Supreme Court justices blurring the line between church and state being a bigger threat to democracy than mass shootings or abortion.
I know y’all wanna blame the opposition, pointing the finger at Republicans for being Republicans is not how we got here, look inward, Obama himself said codifying Roe wasn’t a pressing issue. How we got here is not on Republicans, its on Democrats who fundraised on abortion for 50 years rather than codify, on Obama for not not appointing Merrick during a recess session and RBG for selfishly not retiring and instead dying in office, giving Trump a 3rd bite at the apple.
Dems have zero cred on guns, Dem cities are urban warzones, the result of decades of disastrous Dem policies that created a survivalist, dog eat dog, struggle life mentality/environment and exacerbated every issue from poverty to crime to homelessness.
These weren’t miscues fam, this was all intentional… And it blew up in their faces.
We will be living with the consequences for another 50 years, if not more.
