Picking where I left off yesterday… its easy to see why we’re losing despite our gains. We are not building. We have no foundation. Nobody is putting together the pieces of the puzzle that is black America or trying to get our components to work like a well oiled machine. New black media has had many successes, ended many campaigns: Abrams, Gilliam, Kamala and even ended the Clinton Dynasty. NBM made many predictions that have come true… and has been consistently on the right side of black people/black issues. New black media is the only mechanism that exists in black America that holds anybody accountable, controls the narrative in/out our community and represents the voice of “The People”.
For all its successes, new black media has its work cut out. The danger we face is what ends every black movement: ego. Combine that with black voices/content creators not recognizing THIS is our moment/squandering it, and putting more value in amassing huge social media followings which give them ve$ted intere$t in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube over building our own.
That is what they’re on despite warnings, experiencing censorship, shadowbanning and deplatforming. They can all be silenced and taken down Alex Jones style just like that *POOF*, years of work vanished, an entire movement gone. Unfortunately that’s what its gonna take and by then it will be too late, their credibility, like their work *POOF* gone.
