You will be hard pressed to find other groups as out of touch as black elites, that if anything is at the root of the issues we’re facing today. The Congressional Black Caucus got with Biden for another photo opt, being the backdrop for Biden ‘honoring’ Emmett Till. There is no honor without justice but no offense, this was not on the wishlist of anybody under 50. And Till should have been honored decades ago and not have a segregationist exploit his murder for votes.
And notice, elites are on the wrong side of “We the People” on every issue; Black leaders are not advocating for reparations, instead Cori Bush is being propped up to hijack this movement, mislead and sell air sandwich with a side of hope.
And on the flipside, the same folks are sabotaging and smearing Cornel West and Ice Cube. Their crimes? Moving outside the Dem Party, which makes anyone an enemy. The blue wall extends well beyond policing.
Ask anyone under 50 their opinions of Biden, Cornel West and Ice Cube and you will be hard pressed to find one that thinks more of Biden than West or Cube. They have the attention of younger black voters. Black men. A 3rd party scholarly candidate and an educated rapper, Dems worst nightmare.
New black politics is fighting back, even battles they say we can’t win.
