☕ Morning fam,
Some of y’all have still yet to realize the significance of this moment. The world is changing. This country is changing. Politics changed. The parties have changed, neither is the party of our grandparents generation. Black leaders are conflating rights our ancestors died for like free speech and the right to carry arms, both explicitly laid out in the Constitution with voting rights and other tangibles for illegals, immigrants & noncitizens and abortion.
The left is back to their old tricks, trying to co-opt and weaponize “replacements” after being called out for circumventing the legal immigration process by opening the southern border and importing Afghans and Ukrainians to replace angry voters fleeing the party in droves, change the demographics of majority black cities and diminish black political power.
Running on abortion is no longer a guaranteed win. And more are more concerned about the credibility of court than abortion being regulated by states, like we just experienced with and survived through covid.
Safety, inflation & the economy and the supply chain are what people care about. Not identity, orientation or pronouns. Good paying jobs with benefits, not “Black Lives Matter” being painted on NBA courts. Healthcare, not “wokeness” in entertainment and sports. And violent crime and record homicides throughout the country, not supporting Nazis elements in the Ukraine.
At this point the conversation is no longer ‘orange man bad” or any of the other shit Dems are talking, the conversation is results, is shit working or not? Are things getting better or worse? And co-option/corruption on the left. Not even the threat of World War III or the Supreme Court possibly reversing Roe v Wade changes that.
