Morning fam

☕ Morning fam, Said I was talking about black elites, celebs and athletes crying over things that could be eliminated by building their own, especially when we have more pressing issues, yet here we go again. Mofos crying about Caitlin Clark, her sin? Being a while girl that can hoop, who is single handedly elevating the WNBA. And instead of being happy that more people are tuning in and more revenue is being generated or that players are flying on private jets instead of economy or coach and the opportunities this will bring the WNBA, players included, they’re salty she’s the face.

☕ Morning fam,
Said I was talking about black elites, celebs and athletes crying over things that could be eliminated by building their own, especially when we have more pressing issues, yet here we go again.

The shine Caitin Clark is getting is no different that the shine Tiger Woods got when he took the gold world by storm, brought in millions of black viewers to the PGA. And generated a flood of black golfers.

Clark’s critics are hypocritical. For all the complaining, eyerolling and neckrolling while typing,/tweeting the one thing I don’t see is them financially supporting the WNBA, wearing their fav player’s jersey or tweeting from games. They don’t support the WNBA while crying about those that do.

I have yet to see proof of Whoopi or Sunni at a game. Or any of the loudest critics like Monica McNutt or Jemele Hill rally the millionaire/billionaire faction of the mammy brigade to create a black women owned league for lady ballers comparative to Cube’s Big 3. They’re not willing to put their money where their mouth is, yet got so much to say about others that have.

And they have the audacity to suggest they are the truthbearers for black women. More like spokesmammies for the feminist movement pushing victimization and playing on the emotions of black women. And overseers that publicly check black beta male simps back to submission.

They say those that just started watching or covering the WNBA don’t have the right to have an opinion all while having an opinion on what the WNBA should be doing and who the league should be pushing despite never running a league or owning a team owner. (See how that works?)

They complain about salaries of WNBA players while being completely oblivious to the fact that the WNBA has never generated a profit in it’s existence. And instead of embracing a cash cow that is generating more revenue that is already trickling down, they’re attacking it, literally.

Caitlin Clark is a big draw. She has options. Like Ice Cube’s $5 million offer to play in the Big 3 and make more money than playing in the WNBA without the drama. Should she quit the WNBA and explore other options the WNBA would falter, momentum/buzz would be lost, attendance would drop and players would go back to being irrelevant.

And nobody would care.
