St. Louis continues it’s very public fast paced downward spiral. The only silver lining in recent tragedies is that they can no longer be swept under the rug. Regional leaders who refuse to hold each other accountable can no longer sit on the sidelines. What ails the region isn’t a city or county issue. They are regional issues, created by one party rule… and what happens when leaders refuse to hold each other accountable… And when nobody is looking out for the best interests of the community.
Kim Gardner is not a victim. Progressives, black leaders, women, professional activists and paid protesters created this monster by 1. never holding her accountable, 2. making excuses for her fuckery and 3. exploiting the region’s racial issues to give her a pass. For years.
Kim Gardner is not going quietly. Or alone. Every day she remains in power, more of her incompetence/wrongdoing will be exposed, calling into question the judgement of those that allowed things to get to this point.
The city will be exposed… to millions in lawsuits from victims and their families for not only failing to keep residents/visitors safe, but for knowingly pushing soft on crime policies that resulted in their tragedies.
That is the hill progressives chose to stand on. And that is the hill their political careers will die on.
Fire them all.
