The greatest trick white liberals ever pulled was convincing negros that everything we wanted was too difficult, the odds, unsurmountable… and basically impossible. Especially without them at the helm. They reinforced this notion by selecting/elevating/anointing mediocre, easily bought, cowardly “negro leaders” to mislead/deceive black masses hastening our demise using diversity and intersectionality to misdirect our energy and as a play on our emotions and the obsessive need many of us have for white gaze and white validation… for votes and to retain power.
And til Ferguson, it worked. When I saw who Dems, the NPIC, black leaders and black clergy anointed as leaders, I immediately rang the alarm. Real black grassroots activists were ostracized. A lot of y’all participated… and those that didn’t stood on the sidelines, watched and did nothing when Darren Seals was murdered exposing BLM and the hijacking of Ferguson. A lot of y’all still supported… because y’all were on the Dem Party/NPIC/BLM payroll. The truth will come out. And y’all will have to live with the betrayal for the rest of your lives. Your children and their children will live lifetimes with the fear of books and documentaries with “new” evidence of your betrayal being released.
I had people come to me to apologize for the role they played, a few truly full of remorse for being used by the NPIC against the struggle, others admitting they were wrong about BLM, but still trying to position themselves within the NPIC. I’ve had activists in the broader movement jump back on Team B after moonwalking away when the truth hit too close to their pockets. And I’ve had protesters in my own movement let me know in their own way. And I’ve had one or two put my life in jeopardy to keep their fuckery from being exposed.
Here’s the thing fam, trust has been broken… a lot of y’all gotta deal with that. I don’t know how we get it back. Or if it’s even possible. But I do know there is no moving forward with people who do not atone for their actions.
