Congratulations to the Rams. The NFL Boycott began here with the Rams standing in solidarity with us on Monday Night Football. They were very overt, nobody had to ask them what or why they were protesting. They didn’t exploit the murder of Mike Brown or our trauma to brand themselves. And they didn’t overshadow or make this action about them. They stood for justice, not a Nike or Netflix deal.
They left town as a result of the pushback, incompetent leaders opened the door, the Rams bounced and the rest is Super Bowl history in the making.
St. Louis sued got a fraction of billions at play, settling the first day of settlement talks. The powers that be continue to try to frame this as a win, but the reality? The region will never recover from the loss of not one, but two NFL franchises. And an NBA team. No matter how they try to frame it. #Rams #Cardinals #Hawks
