☕ Morning fam,
A message to young black people: Trust very few people over the age of 50. By 50 most have been broken and defeated. Most are either trying to conform or are jockeying for position in either white institutions or the system they claim to be fighting.
They have no fight left in them. The reality of following the wrong people, fighting the wrong battles and falling into every trap set in. As does the consequences. Then fear kicks in, they don’t think we can do anything without white folks because their whole adult life experience has consisted of working for white folks, taking direction from white folks or seeking validation.
They’re not gonna build for our future or pay it forward, they don’t have that in them. They look at the government for every solution, and will even cosign solutions that make our condition worse. They engage in usury, exploiting/using young black talent as a stepping stone all while moving and voting against their interests.
They don’t believe children are the future, they see them as threats to the status quo… and even competition for crumbs massa throws their way. They mislead and deceive…. and have sold out generations coming behind them for their own selfish personal, professional and political aspirations.
They are not ushering in the revolution, they are on the payroll/bankrolled by the very forces we are fighting.
They are not political leaders, they are political overseers.
