☕ Morning fam,
White liberals played on a lotta y’all emotions and need for validation via representation. They responded by cloaking their agenda and criminality in black and lgbtq face. Then using those elevated into positions as shields against pushback labeling any criticism as racist, sexist and/or homophobic.
The latest? Putting the radicalized from those groups on the front line of their battle with white conservatives, their only real pushback. Their job is to play victim, take shots at conservatives and cry racism, sexism or homophobia whenever anyone doesn’t agree with their agenda.
They’re not selected based on qualifications or merit. Qualified people are a threat to the status quo. They’re chosen based on the boxes they check, ease at which they can be compromised and ego. Their incompetence is weaponized against the struggle, their identity used to shield off critique. And once their minions become a liability, are no longer of use or wake up to the con, their incompetence/lack of qualifications are no longer shielded and instead are used as grounds for dismissal.
We’ve seen this play out in various ways since Ferguson ground zero, from elevating the likes of Cori Bush, Bruce Franks, John Muhammad and Rasheen Aldridge in politics. In nonprofits with the elevation of grifters. With every issue with the elevation of professional actorvists and paid protesters. This is by design. They created the blueprint in St. Louis at Netroots 2016 then implemented it throughout the country.
And we’ve been losing every since.
