Those of you who know me from my work in Ferguson have watched me provide analysis, breakdown and provide much needed context for current events as they happened, something I have done for over 20 years online… and I was one of the first to do it, check the Internet Archives, my documented history online goes back decades. Not a lot of folks or media outlets can say that. I promise, your fav internet personality can’t. Very few had the vision. And even fewer see what’s coming next. Look around.
A decade wasted begging for validation from the very people exploiting black death, pain & suffering. Keep fucking around with these Johnnie and Jill come latelys that never see it coming and have no solutions… y’all gonna be our demise.
I’ve always been about building, ownership, controlling our own narratives and feasting from the fruits of our labor. This didn’t start with the murder of Mike Brown. Or my work with Darren Seals. I didn’t pivot because what I was doing wasn’t working or I needed to reinvent myself after selling out, this is the lane I’ve always been in. I am one of a handful that built this lane… and by handful, meaning I can count on one hand the others like myself, Chuck D and Paradise Gray that paved the lane decades ago for the fusion of hip hop, politics and technology… the foundation for new black politics, so threatening the seeds had to be destroyed before they could grow.
We lost 20 years. It took mofos decades to catch up… only to get bamboozled another decade by grifters jumping into the lanes we created…. and able to get this off because mofos don’t study, fell for the con and started believing/supporting/pledging loyalty to whichever political/movement/black celeb whore propped up… new faces, hand picked that had cosigns of establishment media that were used to drown our voices like mine an Darren Seals which should have been the first sign,
