☕ Morning fam,
Lot of talk about the 10 year anniv of the murder of Trayvon Martin, what if anything has changed… and what, if have we learned? ALEC not only still exists, it is not under investigation and it’s finances/nonprofit status are not in question like Black Lives Matter. It’s signature issue, “Stand Your Ground” is law in many states. Missouri, the land of Dred Scott and Mike Brown has one of the “flimsiest’ stand your ground laws in the nation… Vigilante justice, the Republican legislative’s response to high crime, record homicides and other deadly consequences of decades of disastrous Dem policies. The Dem response? Give the murderers of black people a pass denying black victims justice and calling it reform.
Dem DAs have become open in their refusal to prosecute the murderers of black people, even black children UNLESS the suspects are white or police officers and their murders can be exploited to push an agenda or for votes. And when forced like Zimmerman DA Dem Angela Corey, they lose… and the murderer walks, whether the result of incompetence, ineptness or purposeful. Don’t be fooled by convictions in high profile cases in the media. For every high profile case, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands that never go to trial.
Trayvon Martin joins the loooong list of murdered black people that didn’t get justice and whose deaths were exploited by the Dem Party/NPIC to push an agenda and for votes. They perfected that blueprint during Ferguson using the murder of Mike Brown, used it to raise billions in the aftermath of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery and offered a few scapegoats to justify it all. Justification. Not justice.
