☕ Morning fam, Trump is not playing. His picks, appointments and policies are all bad news for the swamp, unelected buerocrats and career politicians. Dems are bitching and moaning, but this is what happens when you refuse to police of hold your own accountable, someone else will.   ☕ Morning fam, the Feds are still at play, the remaining board members haven’t been cleared of wrongdoing, it’s premature for current board members who could potentially be indicted to make an announcement running for Lewis Reed’s seat. It’s premature for anyone who’s held local/state office or was a political appointee to even think about running for anything except to the feds to make a deal or a criminal attorney.

Lots of fake indignation, if those crying about state takeover were the answer things wouldn’t have gotten to this point. State intervention means less things they can fuck up locally. These are the people that cosigned Kim Gardner. And still refuse to demand her resignation despite a judge ruling the trial to remove her can proceed and another pondering whether to hold her and subordinates in criminal contempt. Not to mention the media’s slow drip of her incompetence by the hour. Their silence is deafening. Kim Gardner is the thread that threatens to unravel it all.

But every issue the region faced was worsened by ‘reform’, the imposition of not well thought out, reactionary, short sighted policies with foreseeable consequences… A culture war nobody wanted. Or voted for. And people, residents and visitors alike are dying as a result. Death has been normalized, collateral damage, the cost elites tell themselves of saving us. Offering thoughts and prayers after foreseeable tragedy is insult on top of injury. As is the ducking and dodging accountability from those in power.
