☕ Morning fam,
We should be winning but we are losing because we are too emotional and value stunting & clapbacks more than progression. We’re not winning because its easier to say “Fight the Power” than it is to actually fight the power. We put little to no action behind words. We say “We can’t” and then don’t. Talk about building then won’t. Building is not a luxury, it is the solution.
Lauryn Hill said it best, “We lose the game before we even start to play.”
We get so caught up in struggles of the day to day we ignore the broader struggle, individually and collectively. And as a result, don’t benefit or mitigate individually or collectively.
