We talk waaaaaayyy too MUCH. In every aspect of live EXCEPT when we are trusted to tell an inconvenient truth, then we’ll duck and dodge or try some other way to be evasive. That’s why we keep getting jammed up, we keep telling on ourselves.
This is so true and it not only plays out in our personal lives, but every aspect of our lives. We see it playing out on social media everyday, particularly among black women and black boomers that care more about clicks & likes, ‘showing’ or one upping white folks, than mobilizing tactfully against our oppression.
Everything we’ve experienced since Ferguson is a result, how police were able to bumrush protesters. How Bruce Franks got caught up in the SLATE timecard scandal. How the oppressors know who to pick.
It’s how we’re being set up in ways we have yet to discover, what basically what happens when you give your opponent or even sideliners the ammo and artillery to kill you.
