Morning fam

☕ Morning fam, Yes, I’m late, I know… tending to bidness, this fight is 27/7/365 with no time off, no sick days or vacation. I gotta produce regardless, doesn’t matter whether we’re in the middle of a global health pandemic or the beginning of World War III. The opposition never takes a day off. Knowing this, why take chances?

☕ Morning fam,

Yes, I’m late, I know… tending to bidness, this fight is 27/7/365 with no time off, no sick days or vacation. I gotta produce regardless, doesn’t matter whether we’re in the middle of a global health pandemic or the beginning of World War III. The opposition never takes a day off. What if today was the day you logged on and all your fav black voices had been de-platformed across all social media platforms Alex Jones style?

Black content creators, what would you do? How would you connect with the hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands and in some cases MILLIONS of friends, fans, followers and subscribers you spent years accumulating? What about your work, years of content. POOF. Gone.

Do you have your own platform? And if you do is it working for you or is it simply an accessory instead of the foundation of what you do? Is your content backed up? Do you have presence outside mainstream social media? Do you come up in Google search results? If so, is the first search result a link that directs the user directly to you? Or to you via a middleman or a platform you don’t own or control? Do you have a maillist?

Question, if you’re not googleable and/or don’t have a maillist, how will your following find you?

I’ll wait. Then I’m gonna bottle it and sell it.
