Yesterday marked 8 years since we shook the world, but you wouldn’t know that. There were no mentions of Mike Brown or the years of civil unrest resulting from the County Prosecutor’s refusal to press charges against Darren Wilson. The region continues to try to move beyond the Ferguson uprising without dealing with the conditions that ignited it.
St. Louis is not woke. St. Louis is not conscious. St. Louis suffers from decades of one party rule, unchecked corruption, cronyism, nepotism, classism and elitism. “Reform” is just a phrase they use to impose party agenda when they have no mandate.
Black Girl Magic is how they implement their agenda. And notice, things are drastically worse, not better. That’s what happens when your movement is co-opted, ‘wokeness’ replaces justice and activist/protesters turned elected leaders are assimilated into the Dem Party.
In less than a decade its almost like Ferguson never happened. Exactly what I cautioned would happen.
