☕Morning fam, A lotta y’all still don’t get it. Not even after everything’s that’s been exposed. A lotta us simply refuse to believe that our country, our government and that people that look like us could be so wrong. Purposely. And intentionally. And that their indifference would lead to the suffering of millions… and even loss of life. Under the guise of helping us… even saving us. Capitalization, commodification, commercialization of suffering of others disguised as salvation. Knowingly.

  ☕ Morning fam, Check your feelings at the door and instead PAY ATTENTION to what is being exposed in real time. These truths are difficult for a lotta those that have been riding these high horses while cloaked in virtue, those that were gassed into believing the they were the backbone (not the assbone) of the Dem Party and those stuck in the civil rights era to accept. And for that do ‘get it’, realization of having to go through the aforementioned or leave then where they are just as bitter a pill for them to swallow. And the most bitter pill reserved for those so dependent on life on the Dem plantation they don’t think they can survive without it and lost their will to even try. The greatest trick the Dem Party ever pull is making a lotta black people think they can’t make it (or do better) without them.

  ☕Morning fam, St. Louis is having yet another march. I lost count of how many marches, vigils and rallies we’ve had for victims this past year, let alone since Ferguson or the last mass shooting. St. Louis still hasn’t figured out it can’t march itself out of the issues plaguing the region. Money is being allocated to fund everything except the mental heal and well being of those dealing with the consequences of decades of systemic failure. A march is easy. It gives elected leaders a platform to pretend to care. It gives orgs opportunities to apply for more grants with zero metrics or accountability. It gives actorvists another opportunity to brand themselves or come up off the trauma of others. It doesn’t address the root causes or the trauma victims are experiencing or the community. It didn’t after the last mass shooting. It didn’t during Ferguson. And sadly it won’t prevent the next tragedy, in fact it almost guarantees it. It’s only a matter of time.

  ☕ Morning fam, St. Louis is what happens when black schools are purposely allowed to exists in an unaccredited state for years, black people don’t know how politics work and black leaders exploit that ignorance by using race to cloak grift, corruption and wrongdoing. History will discuss how we went from shocking the world during Ferguson in our quest for justice for Mike Brown killed by Darren Wilson/black lives mattering to progressive leadership affirming care for children while refusing to affirm the right of black children to live in a safe environment. In the child murder capital, their lives not mattering to black women elected leaders, mothers more consumed with pushing a white radical agenda than saving black lives. And the name given: black girl magic.

  ☕ Morning fam, The dusk is settling. People are coming to the realization that things they believed were true were lies. And a lot of what they thought were lies was in fact truth. A lot of people are struggling letting go of old think, even think based on lies/deception and ushering in a new thought process. Cognitive dissonance is real. As is misplaced anger. Shooting the messenger won’t change the message.

  ☕Morning fam, Somma y’all are gonna get mad at me for writing this… Black people are stuck in a cycle of being triggered and outraged when confronted with the consequences of looking for love/acceptance/validation in all the wrong places. And getting mad at white folks that destroy the myths of inclusion, lesser evils and force us to confront the reality than the ones that sold us those lies in the first place.

  ☕ Morning fam, Last week’s indictments in St. Louis City and St. Louis County is cause for not only audits, but to re-examine the ‘suicide” deaths of deaths of auditor/Governor candidate Tom Schweich (R) and later his assistant, as well as Kim Gardner’s prosecution of Eric Greitens (R) who went on to win that seat. Gardner is currently waiting judgement from the MO Supreme court for playing dirty to get him.
