☕Morning fam,
This time next week Americans will be heading to the polls. Democrats, who have been wrong on every issue from covid (including the jab and lockdowns) to crime (and still have yet to take to take responsibility for any of it), are demanding, not asking for our votes. In exchange once again for nothing in return. Even as they say democracy is at risk, completely tone deaf to the resounding message that sends to black voters, even if democracy as we know it is were at risk, they would rather see it die than do right by it’s most loyal base.
This is the same party that sent billions to Ukraine, a non NATO country to fight Biden’ war while Jackson still doesn’t have clean water and is currently trying to undermine the black vote with open borders and pushing for illegals to vote.
Not exactly a rallying cry.
In the past when the party had a monopoly on where we get our news & analysis, they would have gotten this off. Today we are no longer limited to Dem narratives pushed as news. Today we see how we are being undermined are distancing ourselves, some resigned to sit this one out. Some leaving the party. And some leaving electoral politics all together.
There is no putting this genie back in the bottle, at least not in the final days leading up to Election Day. And there is no guarantee they could woo us back in 2024 especially if Republicans offer tangibles, considering it doesn’t take much to beat the Dem’s offer yet once again, of nothing.
Never say never fam. Trump offered billions. Biden countered with crack pipes. A scenario many on both sides would have bet would never happen. Or blacks fleeing the party in droves. Yet it all happened.
