On Friday, April 5, 2024, news broke that Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs and his son Christian were sued in Los Angeles. This suit was referenced in Lil Rod’s lawsuit, with a note that a suit would be forthcoming. The suit’s allegations stem from incidents on the Holiday Yacht trip that are also detailed in Lil’ Rod’s suit. Unsurprisingly, this plaintiff and Lil’ Rod have the same attorney, currently under fire in New York Federal court.
The attorneys for UMG brought to the court’s attention a court order in an unrelated case brought by Attorney Blackburn wherein the court ordered him referred to the discipline committee of the federal court. In a comment given to the media, attorney Blackburn states that the two things have nothing to do with the other. One thing is clear: these cases aren’t slowing down.
