Day one of the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, Illinois, is officially in the books. Democrats rolled out a plethora of speakers to opine about how great of a job President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have done during the current administration. Some notable speakers were Raphael Warnock, Ashley Biden, Jill Biden, Hillary Clinton, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), Jasmine Crockett, and Jamie Raskin. Quite a few “normal” people also spoke live at the event. Pre-recorded propaganda videos played throughout the convention. Kamala Harris was presented as the Earth’s savior in at least two earlier propaganda pieces.
Joe Biden delivered his “farewell” speech at the end of the hours-long event. He did well enough to avoid falling on the ground or having a serious “elder” moment. Overall, the speech was full of the same old Democratic talking points. There wasn’t much in the way of actual policy that would get the country back on track. There was, however, a lot of lies spoken about Trump and Republicans, including the “good people on both sides” lie that has been debunked by leftists themselves.
