Why Do Black Immigrants Outperform Black Americans?
Black immigrants in the United States earn more, marry more, and go to prison far less than black Americans whose families have been here for generations. This video looks at why, and at what happens to those same immigrant families by the third generation. The answer has less to do with where people come from than with what they learn once they get here.
