In this Harlem Liberation School video, brother Agyei Tyehimba urges members of the Black community to get involved in helping to address issues relating to Black people’s advancement and liberation.
What issue should you address? What problem should you work to solve? Agyei suggests the things that most upset or disturb you are the things you likely need to address. Is it homelessness, miseducation, violence in the community, police brutality? Only you will know, and you will know by the condition or issue that most concerns or upsets you.
Agyei suggests that righteous indignation or being upset is not enough. Once you identify the area, issue, or condition you want to address, you must move on it URGENTLY. Don’t procrastinate or waste time. Be consistently, give your all, and move as if there is no tomorrow, as if your life depended on it!
