In this episode, I spoke with political commentator Adrian Norman about his documentary titled “Smoke & Mirrors: Ending Hip Hop Shootings & Violence In the Black Community.”

I was honored to participate in this production and the overall discussion of Hip-Hop’s alleged influence on violence and crime in black communities. It was a very enlightening conversation that featured Delano Squires, Sonnie Johnson, Rachel Ferguson, and several others as we broke down the various issues that lead to the conditions in which far too many black Americans find themselves.

In this conversation, Adrian gives some background related to the creation of the documentary and the conversation he wants to start.
