Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were both welcomed to their respective WNBA franchises with their opening press conferences. The Indiana Fever rolled out the red carpet for their No. 1 overall pick — literally. Clark was driven to the team facilities in a Mercedes Sprinter van and met by a crowd of cheering fans. Reese didn’t exactly get the same treatment. The Chicago Sky’s No. 7 overall pick entered a near-empty gym with no fans and only a couple reporters there to welcome her.
