In this live Harlem Liberation School broadcast, Dhoruba Bin Wahad explains and provides context for right-wing Nationalism and Democratic Fascism.
Dhoruba Bin Wahad is a living legend when it comes to the Black Liberation Movement. He was a member of the Black Panther Party, a leader in its New York City Chapter, and one of the legendary “Panther 21.” along with Afeni Shakur and others. Dhoruba co-founded the Black Liberation Army and later became a political prisoner, serving 19 years of a 25-year sentence. Using the Freedom of Information Act, he later sued the New York Police Department after it was discovered that he had been unfairly imprisoned
Dhoruba – now 79 years old – faces serious medical and financial problems. Harlem Liberation School humbly asks the community to donate whatever they can to support a man who has fought to protect and advance them for decades.
