Fed Up!

A White lady interviewed me over the phone and when she said, MY TEAM WILL REVIEW I threw up my hands and rejected this program.

I am sick and tired of these inept, immoral, unjust and racist people who have the funds to dictate who is qualified, educated, experienced and other crap that says who can feed their families and who can’t.

THIS IS WHAT CRITICAL RACE THEORY LOOKS LIKE.

Teacher diversification is important they tell us, O really?

We have eased back into segregation minus our Black teachers.

Teaching profession is dominated by white women.

In order to disrupt the school to prison pipeline, we must get well meaning Black teachers back into the schools.

REPRESENTATION MATTERS.

Black teachers are known to change the trajectory of the students, became their gps and held the necessary keys. They demanded greatness because they were our proof.

BLACK TEACHERS ARE KNOWN TO: Demand, Stimulate, Save, Keep, Create, Include, Empower, Energize, Inform, Counsel, Unlock, Model, Affirm, Hold, Welcome, Master, Understand, Enforce, and Champion, Show Up, Command, Expect, Refuse, Hold Fast.

I would like to give Black students around the world an apology.

I am so fed up.

We know education is outdated, irrelevant and full of lies and year after your you show up, you come ready, willing and able and America insult your intelligence, strip you of your creativity, rob you of your brilliance, and deny you your gifts and criminalize legislated ptsd, trauma, lack and poverty.

I am so fed up.

They force us into professional development and other mundane activities when you can’t develop: vision, mastery, excellence and scholastically astute students.

We are expected to drop our race, culture, fears, maltreatment, malpractice others project onto all of us at the door and step across the threshold as unaffected and ignorant Black educators, parents, and community members.

I am so fed up because they refuse to discuss legislated malpractice and maltreatment but view us as data, stats, percentages and other nonsense.

They choose not to acknowledge the toll issues such as: poverty, ptsd, trauma, crime, the unknown, fear, anxiety, hunger, homelessness and maltreatment and other maladies have upon you and your family in our distressed communities and I am supposed to not care, not regard, hear them speak of these things like they don’t know it yields great profit.

O THEY KNOW!

I am the outsider in the building, I am the agitator in the building, I am the one who speaks up and speaks out on your behalf, for you and concerning what is legislated you.

These programs to expedite teacher certification and this “false notion” of feigned commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity of putting or keeping WHITE ineffective, immoral and racist teachers inside of our inner city schools but not Black teachers in white affluent schools is a gross form of racist and willful inequity.

Black teachers teach CHILDREN, no matter the socioeconomic background.

We are able to bring our unique experiences, education, strengths and weaknesses to classrooms, all of them and yes even in the affluent schools.

These programs aren’t diverse because they focus on one geographical area and not the totality of student populations in a country where they don’t have to acknowledge, respect or include Black teachers to teach their white students but seemingly Black students don’t have an option to have mediocre, uneducated and illiterate teachers who are given access, opportunities and passes to destroy our future and culture.

THEY EVEN CALL THEM POLICYMAKERS OF WHICH SAYS IT IS KNOWN, WILLFUL AND INTETIONALLY LEGISLATED.

YOU ARE INNATELY EDUCATED

YOU ARE INNATELY GIFTED

YOU ARE INNATELY TALENTED

YOU ARE INNATELY FLAWLESS

YOU ARE INNATELY EDUCATED

YOU ARE INNATELY TOP TIER

YOU ARE INNATELY WHOLE

YOU ARE INDEED INNATELY STRONG

YOU ARE INNATELY RESILIENT

YOU ARE HUMAN

YOU ARE INNATELY SCHOLARLY

YOU ARE NOT CRIMINALS

YOU ARE NOT DUE THIS SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE

YOU ARE NOT THE REASON YOU ARE HARSHLY DISPLINED

YOU ARE NOT A THREAT

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE WHITE TEACHERS

YOU DESERVE ALLIES, ADVOCATES AND CHAMPIONS

YOU DESERVE BLACK TEACHERS WHO CARE AND LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY

YOU ARE HIGHLY REGARDED

YOU ARE MORE THAN ATHLETICISM

YOU ARE DUE RESPECTFUL AND CONSIDERATE TEACHERS AND LEADERS

YOU ARE EXTREMELY INNATELY GIFTED

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO LEARN DIFFERENTLY, YOU DID BEFORE AGE 5

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE BAD DAYS

YOU ARE NOT THE MASSES BUT AN INDIVIDUAL

YOU ARE NEVER LOW PERFORMING, LOOK AROUND YOU AND THEN UNDERSTAND WHAT’S IN YOU

YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND JUST HOW THE SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE WAS DESIGNED FOR YOU AND END IT

YOU ARE DUE RESPECT, REGARD, REFORM, AND REVISIONS

YOU ARE SO PERFECT, FEARD, BRILLIANT, EDUCATED AND A THREAT: THEY HAD TO CREATE LAWS, RULES, CODES, MANDATES TO MAKE SURE YOU WERE UNABLE TO COMPETE, SHOW UP, PRODUCE AND OUTPERFORM

YOU ARE NOT THE PROBLEM, THE INEFFECTIVE, INCOMPETEMENT, IGNORNANTE, ENTITLED, IMMORAL, RACIST, UNJUUST TEACHERS ARE

YOU ARE LEGISLATED CULTURALLY INSENSITIVE CURRICULULM, GIVEN RACIST AND IGNORANT TEACHERS, DENIED CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES TO MAKE SURE YOU DON’T SHOW UP, MAKE SURE YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT’S AVAILABLE TO MAKE SURE YOUR VOICES AREN’T HEARD OR YOUR BODIES SEEN AND POWER FELT

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH MENTAL TRAUMA IN SCHOOLS

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH INJUSTICES AND IMMORALITY IN SCHOOLS THAT MIRROR THE WORLD BUT YOU DO DAILY AND PAY FOR THEM TO DELIVER IT

YOU ARE GOING TO BREAK THESE 1800’S: RULES, LAWS, CODES, MANDATES, LEGISLATIONS, AND POLICIES THAT WERE CREATED AND PERPETUATED BY RACIST WHITE MEN THAT USED THEM TO: STRIP, DENY, OMIT, REJECT, DEHUMANIZE AND CAUSE INFERIORITY UPON US

YOU ARE NOT (THIS, THAT AND THE OTHER) OF WHICH CAUSES MISDIAGONIS, THE APA JUST APOLOGIZED TO BLACKS FOR THE KNOWN AND WILLFUL LIES TO UPHOLD RACIST VIEWS TOWARDS US

YOU ARE WORTHY OF LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO KNOW ABOUT THE STRUGGLES AND TRIUMPHS OF OUR PEOPLE SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE THE TORCH AND FINISH THEIR RACE

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LEARN THE TRUTH SO THAT YOU CAN CHANGE THE FUTURE

YOU ARE WORTHY OF SINCERE REPRESENTATION

YOU ARE WORTH THE ENGAGEMENT, CONSIDERATION, AND DIALOUGE

YOU ARE NOT LAZY, LOOK AROUND YOU AND YOUR INNER CITY NEIGHBORHOODS AND LOOK AT THE “ESSENTIAL” WORKERS WHO HELD AMERICA UP AND DOWN AND KEPT IT AFLOAT DURING A PANDEMIC

YOU ARE STILL EXPECTED TO BE IMPACTIVE

YOU ARE AP MATERIAL

YOU ARE ABLE TO HANDLE CHALLENGING CLASSES, LOOK AT WHAT AMERICA LEGISLATES YOU: MALPRACTICE AND MALTREATMENT AND YOU SHOW UP ECSTATIC, WILLINGLY, KNOWINGLY AND PURPOSEFULLY DAILY AND KNOCK OUT THE BALLPARK WHAT LITTLE THEY DO GIVE YOU

YOU ARE DUE EQUITY, CULTURAL RESPONSIVENESS AND FAIRNESS INSIDE THOSE PRISON PREPS CALLED SCHOOLS

YOU ARE SO FEARED, THEY HAVE TO PAY BIG BUCKS TO GET THEIR WHITE CHILDREN ENROLLED INTO COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES BUILT BY YOUR BLACK ANCESTORS WHO WERE IN SHACKLES AND CHAINS AND UNABLE TO READ OR WRITE…..IJS

YOU ARE ENTITLED TO HAVE AND YOU PAY TO HAVE: EMPATHETIC, COMPASSIONATE, LOVING, LOYAL, REVOLUTIONARY, SCHOLARLY AND INTUTIVE BLACK TEACHERS

WE ARE ONE AND THE SAME

WE HAVE ALWAYS FACED: LEGISLATED RACISM, DISCRIMINATION, EDUCATION MALPRACTICE AND CURRICULUM DISCRIMINATION, OPPRESSION, IMMORALITY, DEMORALIZATION AND CULTURAL INSENSITIVITY BECAUSE WHITE PEOLE HAVE RIGHTS TO EXECUTE AND EXHIBIT THESE BIGOTED THINGS IN THE GUISE OF THEIR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS, AND YET WE CHAMPION, YET WE WIN, YET WE OVERCOME WITH EVERY GENERATION.
