VOA60: Senegal Cuts Nationwide Internet Access and More

Senegal’s communications ministry on Tuesday said internet access was suspended nationwide, after authorities banned planned demonstrations against the postponement of the February 25 presidential elections.

Plus, 40 additional tanks and armored vehicles were reportedly deployed to the border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip — developments that happened after Israeli forces bombarded the Palestinian enclave and pushed hundreds of thousands of people toward the border city of Rafah.
