In this video essay, I break down why the U.S. state should be considered fascist, how both the Democratic and Republican parties have used the same oppressive tactics, and the deep connections between fascism, anti-Blackness, and militarism. From COINTELPRO to Necropolitics, I explore how the U.S. political system weaponizes language, suppresses social movements, and perpetuates state violence—especially against marginalized communities.
We’ll also look at historical parallels, like how U.S. gas baths at the border inspired Nazi Germany, and how militarism and police repression—like Cop Cities—signal even more violent repression in the future.
