Check your feelings at the door. Emotionalism is how we got into this mess, specifically Dems, playing on our emotions. Before you run out there and “answer the call”, think. Think about how we got here. Think about the people that are calling for you to take to the streets, then remember Ferguson… and what we now know to be true.
We know know that Democratic politics since Ferguson has been a whole grift orchestrated by the left (the Dem Party, elected leaders, big tech, BLM and other million dollar nonprofits, billionaire philanthropists, the media, black political pundits, black celeb and black clergy, professional actorvists and paid protesters have all feasted off of), that was more than likely funded by (and protected by) the same cabal that TIME reported ‘fortified’ the 2020 election.
Then think about the results… nobody talks about the aftermath of Ferguson, what happened after the cameras left. The NPIC didn’t stick around to put action into any of their rhetoric. BLM, Deray and their Ferguson minions went completely missing in action. None of the anointed Ferguson folks are active in the community they claimed to represent, having used the death of Mike Brown to propel their careers and give them new lives and success they would have never achieved had Michael Brown not been shot or killed.
Billions were raised, careers made… and Michael Brown never got justice. Ferguson is worse today, the entire region is worse off. St. Louis was named the child murder capital and one of the worse run cities in the nation. A federal investigation into St. Louis City and St. Louis County resulted in several indictments with more on the way.
Activists/Protesters turned elected leaders were huge disappointments and worse than I even imagined when I pushed back at who they were elevating. I was called a hater and dismissed. I hasn’t hating, I wanna win. And I knew we weren’t gonna win with them… they were inexperienced, the didn’t know politics, they had no gameplans, they listened to people who they were supposed to be the change from. They were assimilated into the Dem Party and NPIC. Some resigned in scandal, one because of a federal indictment. They became the very people we were fighting.
Black girl magic has been a complete disaster. Tishaura Jones was elected because people want change, but not the change she and her handlers are imposing going against the will of the community. She may have the best intentions, but she’s losing the support of the people. People voted for a mayor, someone to deal with St. Louis’ many, many, many local issues. Not a cheerleader for the Dem Party, an advocate for national issues or an atm for the many, many, many orgs that feast off black death, trauma and dysfunction. If she keeps down this path she will not only be a one term, she will take the blame and be the face of all the fuckeery and failures that came before her. And go down as one of, if not the worst Mayor in the city’s history.
Kim Gardner spent most of her tenure chasing great white whales, trying to make a name for herself and paying victim while ignoring victims and their families. She is one of, if not the worst DAs in the nation and currently has a case backlog of over 4000 cases. Reform under Gardner has had adverse effects, making every issue worse. Her office is mismanaged… a mess. She was never qualified for the position. Any discussion about her incompetence is met with calls of racism and sexism. Kim Gardner’s family is in the funeral business. Black death however it comes is good for business.
Cori Bush is what you get when white radicals use a black face to push their agenda and give the appearance of black support when in reality, there is none. She’s often used as a mouth piece to push their agenda on things like immigration and identity. She is not an advocate for black issues, she did not win the black vote and she does speak for the black people although she will highlight a minority within the minority to give the appearance. She is out of the Ferguson movement but one that aligned herself with the Dem Party/BLM Inc and only comes back for photo opps, press for whatever issue her handler’s are pitching or to campaign. Most recently she was used to rally support for the domestic terrorism bill which passed in the House. The new and strengthening of existing powers will be used by this administration and the incoming Republican Congress to crush dissent. Her legacy will be a judas that helped made it happen.
I don’t have time to get into the fuckery experienced by people that took to the streets at the hands of the very party that rallied them, then dropped then when they got sued, locked up or hemmed up. When you respond to their rallying cries you’re not fighting for change, you’re allowing them to exploit our energy, misdirect our focus, make things work and continue to raise billions in the process.
