Michigan’s critical U.S. Senate race is exploding into a national political battle after Republicans raised BOMBSHELL allegations involving Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed and alleged connections surrounding Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations.
Republican nominee Mike Rogers, a former FBI agent and former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has made the controversy a major part of his campaign against El-Sayed.

During an August Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing examining alleged Muslim Brotherhood networks in America, counterterrorism analyst Kyle Shideler raised concerns about El-Sayed’s candidacy.
Shideler pointed to alleged family connections involving organizations critics have associated with Muslim Brotherhood networks and El-Sayed’s connections with Muslim-American political organizations.
Sen. Ted Cruz also highlighted El-Sayed during the hearing, arguing that his political rise should be examined in the context of what Cruz characterized as a larger institutional network.
Republicans have continued hammering the allegations.
Mike Rogers has claimed that El-Sayed previously “pledged his support to the Muslim Brotherhood” and has attempted to make national security a defining issue in their Michigan Senate showdown.
