🚨 The parents at the center of the disturbing Siders case involving 16 children are now facing additional felony charges in a SEPARATE child-sex-abuse investigation.
Gary Siders Jr. and Elizabeth Siders have each been indicted on two counts of sexual battery and two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
Authorities allege Gary Jr. and Elizabeth engaged in sexual conduct with a minor more than 10 years younger than them between January and September 2022. Officials say the alleged victim was not one of the couple’s 16 children.
But the connection between these cases is even more significant.
Authorities say the investigation that eventually exposed the conditions involving the Siders’ 16 children started somewhere else entirely.
An initial investigation began in December 2025 involving allegations that two children had been sexually abused. That investigation resulted in indictments against Josh Saunders, 23, and Brandon Henderson Sr., 40. Saunders faces three rape counts and one count of gross sexual imposition, while Henderson faces 21 charges including child endangerment, gross sexual imposition and sexual battery. Both men are presumed innocent.
Information developed during that investigation prompted authorities to open another investigation involving Gary Jr. and Elizabeth.
Investigators eventually went to the Siders residence to obtain a DNA sample from Gary Jr. That’s when authorities discovered the 16 children allegedly living in horrific conditions.
That means the case many people know as the “16 children House of Horrors” investigation wasn’t originally what authorities were looking for when they arrived at the home.
The four Siders adults have now also been formally indicted on numerous child-endangerment counts related to the conditions in which authorities say the children were living. Officials stress that the investigations remain active.
