Memba when I gave ya a heads up about what Karmelo was on the morning before he stabbed Austin Metcalf? About him stalking and sending threatening text messages to his girlfriend and linking the post back to the source, the investigative journalists that broke the story, memba that?
I gave y’all a heads up, enough to letcha know that there was a “there”, but no. Nevermind this was BLM, rebranded. But no. Many took the bait and chose race over truth, only to have it blow up in their faces when Karmelo’s past and texts came to light.
Karmelo’s team filed for an appeal immediately after the verdict… and by doing so exposed a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between the prosecution and defense to omit Karmelo and Austin’s pasts from the trial and limit the case to the incident at the track meet.
Austin’s past was troublesome. Karmelo’s is worse… Not going in to detail here, info is available online.
It wasn’t Karmelo’s past or the fact that he killed Austin Metcalf that turned his large base of black woman supporters off, it was his texts disparaging them.
