Gerald Perreira is chairperson of the Organization for the Victory of the People in Guyana. He joins us from Guyana to discuss U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s recent trip to Guyana, Surinam and Jamaica. During his trip Rubio sought to escalate tensions between Guyana and Venezuela, and to end Caribbean nations’ participation in Cuba’s medical program. We’ll talk about the renewed U.S. focus on the region.
