The Circus is back and Judge Ratha changes his own ruling regarding the witness’s assertion of being manhandled by the police he had mentioned by name.
The State wants to cross examine the witness based on a statement that the witness say was coerced out of him to build the State’s case. An objection was posed by the defense which was granted, but at resumption of the trial, Judge Ratha decided to overturn his own ruling in favour of Adv. Baloyi who now to continue with his cross examination based on the statement that the witness say was coerced out of him.
