This is the moment the case stops being filings and motions and becomes a story told to twelve people. Both sides lay out what they intend to prove. The State will walk the jury through the 1996 shooting, the alleged motive, and the evidence they say convicts him — most of it drawn from Davis’s own book and interviews.
