We were told the government was here to help. But what happens when the “help” becomes the trap?
In this episode of Unshakable with April Chapman, I’m breaking down one of the biggest lies sold to the American people — especially Black Americans: that government dependency equals compassion, justice, or freedom.
No. The government was never designed to be your provider, your parent, your pastor, your school, your husband, or your savior.
The American idea was that God gives rights, and government exists to protect those rights — not guarantee outcomes, redistribute wealth, weaken families, lower standards, or turn citizens into clients of the state. But Democrats want to keep this a secret from you.
We’re talking about:
* Why “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” does not mean guaranteed results
* How government programs become tools of political control
* Why redistribution is not biblical charity
* Why whoever provides for you eventually controls you
* How “equity” lowers standards and increases dependency
* Why the family is the original Department of Defense
* Why parents must reclaim educational authority
* How Christians should develop a healthy doctrine of work
* Why it’s time to think like builders, not beggars
The government plantation does not always come with chains.
Sometimes it comes with direct deposit.
