Democrats won major elections across America, and Black voters once again played an important role in the Democratic coalition. The victory speeches are being delivered, political leaders are celebrating, and history is being made. But now comes the question that Black America should be asking:
WHAT DID BLACK AMERICA WIN?
On this episode of **The Publisher’s Desk**, Damon K. Jones, Publisher of Black Westchester Magazine, examines the difference between political victories and measurable progress for Black Americans.
For generations, Black voters have been among the Democratic Party’s most loyal supporters. But loyalty should come with accountability. Winning elections is one thing. Delivering economic opportunity, stronger schools, homeownership, business development, and generational wealth is another.
As an independent publisher, Damon K. Jones challenges the idea that questioning Democrats automatically makes someone a Republican. Accountability should never depend on party loyalty.
The election is over. The celebration will eventually end. Now it’s time to talk about what Black America is actually getting in return for its political support.
**Only Black America Can Save Black America.**
