In this broadcast, Uncle D (Dennis Spurling) breaks down why Black voters are no longer responding to the same old Democratic fear campaign. The message is simple: Black people have had representation, speeches, slogans, and symbolism for decades — but the real question is whether any of it produced ownership, safer neighborhoods, stronger families, better schools, land, wealth, inheritance, or power.
Uncle D argues that Democratic policies replaced Black “do-for-self” independence with welfare-state dependency. From public housing and food stamps to Section 8, Medicaid, and government benefit programs, the issue isn’t whether these policies helped people survive in the short term. The issue is whether they built anything Black families could own, control, and pass down.
This episode also explains why Latino voters, especially Latino men, are not falling for the same political play. Many Latino families recognize the language of socialism, dependency, state control, open borders, and government giveaways because their families already saw where that road led in Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and other failed left-wing systems. Black voters are beginning to ask the same question Latino voters already asked: what are these policies actually producing?
Uncle D connects Black political loyalty, Democratic dependency politics, immigration, the 2024 voting shifts, Black men moving away from automatic Democratic loyalty, and the larger question of whether Black America should keep voting for policies that don’t create ownership or power.
