H-1B VISA MODEL MINORTY GETS A WAKE UP CALL: BLACK AMERICA KNOWS THIS GAME 📱

Uncle D (Dennis Spurling) is taking on one of the biggest immigration and employment controversies in America: the H-1B visa program, corporate outsourcing, and the growing backlash against foreign tech workers. With an estimated 700,000 H-1B workers living and working in the United States, nearly 70% of approved petitions involving Indian-born workers, and research pointing to wage gaps, Americans have serious questions about who’s getting hired, who’s losing jobs, and who’s making money. From Disney workers who said they had to train their replacements to federal visa fraud convictions and the October 8, 2026, crackdown on eight major technology companies, Uncle D examines the corporate interests behind the controversy. The H-1B program hasn’t been abolished, but the rules are changing.

Then Uncle D turns directly to Indian Americans and the dangers of believing that wealth, education, and political connections offer protection from racism. Indian-American households rank among the highest earners in the United States, but economic success doesn’t guarantee political security. Uncle D connects today’s controversy to the history of Black business owners murdered in Memphis in 1892, the Wilmington massacre of 1898, the Red Summer of 1919, Tulsa’s Black Wall Street in 1921, the Chinese Exclusion Act, and the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. The central question: What happens when money, race, and political power collide?

Finally, Uncle D exposes a side of Black America that rarely gets the attention it deserves: Black wealth, professional success, homeownership, education, and generational power. Research found that 2.5 million Black men had reached the upper third of the family-income ladder by 2016. More recent Census figures show that 4.7% of non-Hispanic Black households had at least $1 million in net worth in 2024, while Black-owned businesses generated hundreds of billions in annual sales. From Prince George’s County and Atlanta to Houston and Missouri City, Black American wealth extends far beyond sports and entertainment.

Drawing on the teachings of Dr. Amos Wilson, Uncle D explains why Black American culture has long valued knowing when to speak, when to fight, and when to keep your damn mouth shut. For families who survived slavery, Jim Crow, lynching, land theft, and the destruction of Black business districts, keeping success private could be a matter of survival. The lesson is simple: Make your money. Protect your property. Build your institutions. Teach your children. And stop telling everybody what the hell you’ve got.
